Going into its second year of production, the '06 C6 looking pretty much like the '05. However, there were some significant changes. The biggest being the introduction of the optional 6-spd paddle shift automatic. This transaxle was electronically controlled by a 32-bit processor which allowed the driver two shifting modes; Drive and Sport, plus full manual control via steering wheel mounted paddles in Sport mode. This was a first for Corvette and this basic configuration continues in the current generation C7. This beautiful '06 not only is equipped with the paddle-shift 6-speed automatic, it's also optioned with the Z51 Performance Package which included specific springs, shocks and stabilizer bars, larger cross-drilled brake rotors, engine oil, transmission and power steering fluid coolers and special Goodyear Supercar EMT tires. Additional equipment includes Chrome ZR-1 style wheels, NAV, 3LT Equipment Group, which includes Head-up display, power telescoping steering column, auto-dimming inside and outside rearview mirrors, Memory Package, heated seats, Bose AM/FM/XM/CD audio system, compass and Homelink garage door opener. The car is in pristine condition throughout with only 8k miles showing on the odometer.
