1995 Chevrolet Caprice Gold Description

This was my grandmother's car and I inherited it as the second owner. It has always been maintained with regular oil changes and repairs as necessary. Receipts for work will be provided. It has four tires with only 10,000 miles on them, with a Costco 60,000 mile warranty. Spare tire is also in excellent condition and may have never been used. Front brakes and hardware were just replaced in August. Distributor was replaced in July. AC compressor was replaced in November 2015. Alternator and serpentine belt were replaced 4 years/14,000 miles ago. Right front window regulator was replaced. Blower motor resistor and low speed fan relay were replaced. Alignment was performed 10,000 miles ago. Hood shocks were replaced. In 2011, the vehicle was in a minor fender bender and the radiator and hood were replaced.
Good condition. Runs great. Normal wear and tear. Garage kept until 2011. Oil leaks probably from engine oil pan and front crank shaft seal--as recommended by mechanic, along with repairing "worn front end/steering". Carpets need cleaning. Carpet is damaged in rear left area from bleach. Headliner sags a bit. Some dents and rust. Some slight indentation on right side. Rear passenger windows do not work (windows will get snagged if operated). Ashtray is not attached but included. Driver's door interior arm rest is slightly loose. Sometimes radio is not responsive to controls, so you just have to tap it back in to place. Left side mirror was replaced but is not electric (only manual). Fuel gauge tends to be "over generous" and reads as full most of the time. It starts to go down rather quickly when you have 3 or 4 gallons left. I've measured the mpg at 22 on a trip to northern Arizona. Passes smog.
Radio/CD player was installed in 2010 and is an Alpine CDA-105 with auxiliary input wired to the glove compartment. Comes with three sets of keys (trunk has separate key but opens by remote) and two remotes.
Comfortable ride, powerful AC, nice powerful engine.
Local pickup only. Payment must be completed with cashier's check or cash prior to transfer of title.

I wanted to add that the repair estimates for the oil leaks was from four years ago and was $550. The mechanic at the time also recommended a "front end/steering worn" repair for "$634 = IA/CL/X2ITRE/X20TRE/SLEEVES/ALIGNMENT." However, no mechanic since then has noticed any front end/steering issues and it drives just fine. It has also had an alignment since then. The tires are also due for a rotation.

Note: The dark patches that appear in the photo of the right side of the vehicle are actually just a trick of light and reflections of other cars. It is actually pure gold. Bad photo.

Just for the sake of more information, approx. $10,000 has been spent on maintaining this vehicle since 2010, when I inherited it. I've put about 7,000 per year on it since, or about 35,000 miles, and babied it. I checked Kelley Blue Book pricing the other day, and it came out at $1,422. It used to be higher than that, but it is what it is. As for the oil leak, I generally have to take it in to "top off" at least once at Jiffy lube between oil changes. There is an "oil low" light that goes off, and I just started to keep an extra quart of oil in the trunk a couple months ago, but I think it is probably a good idea for the buyer to get the oil leaks repaired.
