This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro has gone through a full rotisserie restoration to take the iconic Chevy muscle car appearance and mix in exotic touches throughout. The result is everything you want from a great color combination, to an upgraded suspension, to a performance small block with an overdrive gearbox. There are some great reasons why the paint is so striking on this one. The PPG base yellow and clearcoat has been expertly applied to give the yellow an excellent depth, and a piano black shine to the stripe package. But the big investment in great paint is only part of this package; it takes a terrifically straight canvas to make this Camaro look like artwork. The car is a '67, but you might notice all the '68 panels. That's because this is coupe has gone through a full rotisserie restoration, including new sheetmetal from Goodmark. And to add distinction to this one, '68 panels were utilized. The result is a nearly 50 year-old vehicle that has precision straightness and whose doors that shut with modern confidence. And underneath is nearly as nice. It also has all the right Super Sport touches like the blacked-out grille, font air dam, cowl induction hood, and D80 spoiler. But you know it is far from stock. One look at those 17-inch American Racing wheels filling the wheel wells, and you know you're in for a fast ride.Inside there is no denying that this Camaro is something special. The low-back bucket seats, carpeting, headliner, and door panels all have a deep and dark appearance because anything that wasn't the highest standard was replaced during restoration. But this is far from a midnight atmosphere, because all your favorite elements add color and sheen. This includes shine of elements like the AM/FM/CD stereo head unit; the controls and vents that control the provisions for R134a air conditioning; and the bright spokes of the Lecarra steering wheel. Just beyond that last one is the cool deep dual pod gauges that contain the large speedo and desirable tic-toc-tach. Just to the side of that is the Hurst shifter set into the woodgrain center console, and there are also the iconic quad auxiliary gauges in this setup. Beyond just looking fantastic, the Camaro is setup for serious driving. After all, did you count the gears on the shifter yet?But more than anything else, your going to love the engine bay. The heart of this beast is a performance 350 cubic-inch V8 built an installed around 3,000 miles ago. You'll love popping the hood at all the car shows and watching the crowds marvel at the full custom polished components that look great in the yellow engine bay (even the hood has mirrors to capture all the angles!) This is truly built for presentation with smoothed firewall and engine block painted yellow to match the rest of the car. But just because the engine bay can win awards on its own, doesn't mean speed was left out of this custom build. It's a four-bolt main small block with a Comp Cams street grind cam, MSD distributor, high torque IMI starter, performance intake, and Holley four-barrel carburetor. The full package is estimated at 400 hp, and the Hedman headers that feed the rumbling MagnaFlow X-pipe dual exhaust instantly lets the world know how much power you have. More than just power and presentation, this Camaro is a true driver's car. That's why it comes with reliable components like a Be Cool high performance aluminum radiator, electric fan, and Stewart Components water pump. It means you can drive it anywhere with confidence. And the upgrade to a five-speed manual transmission means you can choose between performance driving and overdrive cruising on a whim. When it does come time to put the power to the ground, you'll be glad you have the stout Moser 12-bolt rear end running 3.73 gears. Plus, there's serious suspension hardware with a Hellwig subframe and Detroit Speed tubular A-arms up front, Detroit Speed rear leaf springs, as well as new bushings and Koni shocks all around. Top it off with an SSBC four-wheel disc brake system, and you realize this custom classic can outmaneuver much younger cars. This Camaro is so much the total package that we didn't even have room to list all of the upgrades.
