1954 Chevy Short Box, Kansas Truck

1954 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100 Description

What I have here, is an original 54 Chevy short box pick up. The truck is solid with the original paint, what's left of it. The motor does run good, fires on all 6 cylinders and idles smooth, the carb. has been newly rebuilt, the brakes have been gone through. There is a new fuel tank installed as well as a new starter and tune up. The charging system is 12 volt. The trans. is in very good working condition as well as the shifter and clutch. The trans. gears are quiet and the rear end gears are quiet, the wheel bearings have been packed with new bearing grease. The steering is tight with no excessive play and steers easy, the king pins are tight as well. The door hinges are tight, the doors close good. The tires are in road worthy condition. The hoses and alternator belt are in good condition. The windshield is good, some of the flat glass is cracked. I do have a friend in the glass cutting business, I can get a deal on new glass at the buyers expense, if wanted?
Remember, this truck is 62 years old and mostly original, if you are looking for a like new 54 Chevy truck, or a frame off restoration, this truck is not for you.
