1950 Chevrolet Pickup 3600 ¾ Ton

-Numbers matching 216 engine; rebuilt at 60,000 miles, currently has 67,000 original miles. This 85hp engine was detailed with the correct paint color and decals; it also has the factory oil-bath air cleaner which is quite rare. The engine does not leak a drop! The carburetor has been rebuilt withethanolresistant gaskets.

-New headlights, parking lights, chrome tail light assemblies. The wiring harnesses on the exterior of the cab have been replaced; the factory harness under the dashboard is in good condition.

-This truck has the original 6 volt electrical system with a new battery, new voltage regulator and rebuilt generator. The charging system works as it should.

-Brand new hubcaps and emblems.

-The rear axle has been entirely rebuilt with new seals and bearings. The original 5.14:1 differential carrier was swapped to a 4.10:1 differential. First gear still provides plenty of pulling power while you can easily go 55mph without over revving the engine. It cruises very well at 55mph.

-The brakes have been meticulously gone over, master cylinder, slave cylinders, lines, drums and shoes. The drums have been machined and the shoes properly adjusted.

-The bench seat was reupholstered with an original grey seat cover, all new foam and painted frame.

-The heater core has been leak tested and new hoses installed.

-A new floor mat, grey headliner and grey door panels are installed.

-The windshield and rear window have been replaced with new glass and seals. The trim has been painted to match the interior and new screws used throughout.

-New door seals inner and outer; the cab seals nicely in cold weather and prevents rattling. New door handles, the handles do not droop which is common on these trucks.

-All gauges work accurately, new gas tank sending unit installed.

-This truck is very mechanically sound and would be a great candidate for a frame off restoration. The interior and engine bay clean up nicely for showing.

It is really fun to drive and receives lots of attention everywhere I take it. This can be a daily driver and will still haul heavy loads.
