2001 Chevrolet Tahoe LS Description

You will NOT find a cleaner 4x4 Tahoe of this vintage anywhere. COLD FRONT AND REAR HEAT AND AIR! Seats 6; no 3rd seat. It runs, rides, and drives as good as it looks. At 77 mph the odometer reads 2,050 rpm's = good gas mileage for a large vehicle. The previous owner claims he once got 21 miles per gallon at 65 mph. I would think, at that speed 16/19 mpg would be an average you can expect. I just had it in the shop and put in a new oxygen sensor, 2 - detonation knock sensors, a canister vent valve, canister purge valve, canister purge solenoid, a left front wheel bearing and front hub assembly, knock sensor harness, had the oil and oil filter changed, and 4 BRAND NEW 265/70R16 UNIROYAL LOREDO CROSS COUNTRY TIRES. The old tires I took off were about 10% at best tread left. but they each had even wear all the way across the tires = no front end problems. This Tahoe has had tender loving care from day one and, the body andinteriorshows it. The drive train is as good as the looks of the Tahoe. You can see by the pic of the dash the oil pressure is as good as it gets. NO OIL LEAKS!! I would take this Tahoe anywhere there's roads, and then some if I had to. I am a private individual, so any person living in Illinois who purchased this vehicle, the tax would only be $25.
