1950 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Convertible Description

Chevrolet 1950 Convertible

I am putting my 1950 Chevrolet Convertible for sale. I acquired this car 30 years ago in my hometown of Bogota, Colombia and did a frame off restoration to it. I have restored classic cars all my life but this car has a special value to me and a lot of good memories; after I meticulously restored it I was able to enjoy it through the years with my family.
About 2 years ago I brought the car over to the States with plans of selling it but not without first driving it to a couple of car shows or taking it out on a few weekends. The rest of the time, I have kept it in my garage; this car has little to no rust due to the climate at the country of origin and being storage at a climate controlled garage at all times.
By looking at the pictures you will be able to see the shape of the car. The upholstery was redone 2 years ago, all the gauges work, the engine/ transmission work great, the top works like it is supposed to, all the buttons are in great shape, all the lights work, everything is original, 6 volts electrical system, chromes were done less than 2 years ago and are in great shape. The only thing I would change is that this car has not been painted since it was restored and if anything would need to be redone this would be it. On the pictures, you can appreciate that even thou the paint still shines all over, it has various scratches and paint details that have been caused by regular use and a few dings and scratches that were done during the transportation process to the States.
Nevertheless, this car is in great shape. It holds a special value to me and my family and I am sure that whoever gets it will be able to appreciate it as well, I would like to hold on to it for a while longer but I am acquiring other car projects here and in my hometown and unfortunately, the wife does not let me jump into then before I make the space (and as you all know, it is cheaper to get rid of the car than to get rid of the wife)
You are more that welcome to come over and look at the car, we can arrange an appointment or if you have any additional questions give me a call or shoot me a message.
The buyer will be responsible for the transportation/ pick up costs, I can assist on transport arrangements as needed.
Good luck and happy bidding!!
