In 1996, Corvette started the production of the LT-4 engine that was placed in the Grand Sport Corvette, along with some of the Collector Edition and base Corvettes. The LT-4 produced 330 horsepower from the factory and was mated to the 6 speed manual trans. The Collector Edition in 1996 was produced in Sebring Silver with three color options for the interior: black, light gray, or torch red. The Collector Edition had special badging along with silver five spoke wheels that were only available on the Collector Edition. This Corvette has only 17,000 miles and is not only a beautiful example of a 1996 Collector Edition, but also a time capsule from 1996. I am the third owner of this Corvette. It has always been stored indoors under a cover. This Corvette does have the LT-4 engine with the 6 speed manual trans. Car has never had any paint or body work done and is completely stock. This Corvette has the light gray interior which is 1 of only 157 Collector Edition LT-4 convertibles that were produced with light gray interior. Carpets and seats are both in showroom condition and everything in car works. The exterior of this Corvette is also in showroom condition as you can see in the pictures. All glass is perfect with no scratches, cracks, or chips. Tires were just put on and have less than 30 miles on them. As you can tell by the pictures, I don't believe this car has ever been driven in any kind of bad weather or rain. I have all paper work for this vehicle showing previous owners and build sheet. There are no disappointments with this Corvette, feel free to contact me with any questions. (270) 543-2958
