Pros: THIS IS A RELIABLE TRUCK! Original 128,068 miles. Truck originally from California & has very minimal to almost no rust; clean under-body. It's been in N.Y. for 2 1/2 years, but kept in the barn during the winter... never driven in the salt... ever. Body is not perfect, as seen in photos, but it is pretty darn good for 1986. I also just re-did the interior. New factory spec seat upholstery. New dash. Original door panels (refurbished). All emblems are original 1980's Chevy parts. Wheels are original that I sanded light rusting off, cleaned & painted with good silver auto paint (will include extra can with truck). CD player with Bluetooth. New tires with less than 500 miles on them with warranty & tire warranty papers. Original Paint. Long-bed. Crank windows. Manual door locks. Heater. New Spark Plugs & wires, new PCV Valve, new Air Filter. Truck has been well maintained with regular oil changes.
Cons: Dent on rear upper corner of truck-bed (see photos). Slight bend in upper truck rail behind rear window. Cracking on roof from sun (metal underneath cracking is solid though). Rear window not original. Tailgate handle assembly needs replacing. Tailgate does not open unless you use a screwdriver to engage. Slight ticking (#6 lifter needs adjusting, not a big deal). Starts great, but when she is cold, she might take a couple tries, buts starts really loud (good) right after gassing her up. I only put high octane in her. A good runner!This is a really good, solid truck. I bought it in California because I needed something quick & I believe I got lucky with this truck. She got me back & forth to a college course I was taking in CA with no issue & became a nice Sunday driver in the summer in N.Y. No matter how bad my day was, this truck ALWAYS put a big smile on my face. I will be sad to see her go, but it is time for me to sell.
