You are bidding on a 1966 Chevrolet 1/2 ton C-10 short bed pickup truck with many upgrades. This is a California truck and has been driven in the dry San Fernando Valley for the past 20 years by the same owner. It has a straight body and bed with no rust.
Under the hood is a is a rebuilt 350 engine with modified cam, Corvette heads, solid lifters and new 600 Holley carburetor. It has only 20000 miles on it. The engine runs through a 350 automatic transmission with a trans cooler. The shifter is B&M.
It has power steering with tilt steering wheel. Disc power brakes are on the front with drums on the rear.
Body is straight with no rust. The bed wood has been restored. Rear bumper is new. New weather stripping is ready to be installed. Chains have been removed from the rear gate, latches are on inside. Paint is white.
The interior has a bench seat in so so condition. New carpet kit has been installed. There is an Alarm which needs to be hooked up and it has a kill switch. Windows and door locks are manual. New door handles.No radio, heater or AC. The Tach is installed but needs to connected. Currently a handicap hand control unit has been installed for the Veteran owner. The hand control can be removed.
Lights and switches all work, window glass is in good condition.
