1999 Suburban 4WD, 56K LOW MILES!!! (Yukon, Escalade)
1999 Chevrolet Suburban Description
VERY strong running 1999 4WD Chevy Suburban with ONLY just over 56,000 actual miles! I still drive this on occasion, so the mileage may go up slightly...
AC, AUTO, power windows, power locks, cruise control, rear barn doors for convenient access behind removable 3rd row, stereo/cassette/6 disc CD player, fog lights, tow package.Great interior with leather seats throughout. This Suburban was customized by the former owner with some features I've never even used. Some of my favorite features:
Front Recaro Orthoped 11 way power adjustable driver and passenger seat. These are THE ergonomic luxury seats made! Can be adjusted for your personal extreme comfort. These seats are SUPER expensive and I recommend looking them up on the web.Leather full power and heated 2nd row reclining captains seats.3rd row seating.Heated and COOLED cup holders for the front occupants!!!! Yes, keep that soda or other bottled beverage COLD!! ;) Or your coffee hot.Tons of interior room to haul 7 passengers in comfort.PLENTY of power from the low mileage 5.7L 350 engine with a Borla exhaust and K & N Filter to give it a few extra ponies.New front brakes and slotted rotors for better stopping power, new rear brakes and drums, new emergency brake cable. Automatic transmission with overdrive to get better gas mileage than most SUV's this size. And this one has the rare 42 gallon gasoline tank for extended driving distances.Pushbutton selection for for 2WD/4WD/AUTO 4WD for easy change while on the fly.
Some of the custom items I rarely tried or used:Separate front and rear stereo system, so yes it has 2 stereo radios in it. Rear stereo system even has it own wireless headphones that work!Alpine brand XM radio receiver, I never purchased a subscription to it.A Cellular phone, I am not even sure if this phone can be connected back to cellular service. lolFront and rear climate controls. There is a VHS player in this Suburban so all passengers could possibly watch a movie while traveling. There are 5 lcd screens in this suburban, the back of the headrests in the front seats, the back of the headrests of the 2nd row captains seats, and the passengers visor. I could not get them all to work, but I know some of them did work. I never used them...There are adjustable halogen reading lights for the 2nd row captains chairs that can be dimmed or turned off completely. With these other goodies, seeing how it was set up, my guess is this was designed as an Executive Limo vehicle back in the day. I just enjoyed driving it, so I didn't use the other amenities. lol
Now the exterior.. The paint is good on this vehicle in general, there are a couple small blemishes as shown in the pictures. Each rear door has a small bit of surface rust on the bottom corner near the hinge. I tried to get a good picture of each spot and a small spot that is getting some "bubbles" under the paint. The passengers front door has scuffs that could be buffed out, they aren't deep scuffs. The front steel bumper has a couple small spots I took pictures of also, nothing serious or heavy, all surface stuff.I have no key FOB remote for this suburban, I never got one when I purchased the vehicle.I will answer all other questions the best I can. Thanks for looking and your interest!
