2012 Chevrolet Volt Description

Long story short, this car has the SHVCS message (well known issue). When this message is active the car is not allowed to charge. My dealer was charging me for repairs that *should* have been under warranty. I got sick of it and did what they recommended myself. The issue came back a couple weeks later so it seems they misdiagnosed the problem. While everything should have been under warranty, I was led to believe it wasn't, so now a potential buyer may have to pay to undo my work. It's literally 2 spliced wires on the coolant level sensor, nothing major.
Because of ongoing issues with my local dealer, I decided I would take my money to a different brand for now. I had great luck with my previous dealer, but since moving, this new dealership has been a joke. This car has been very good to me and it's unfortunate that my local dealer is incompetent.
That said, this car is in good condition. Besides the issue mentioned above, the car runs and drives excellent (running as a hybrid since last charge). Battery life is unchanged from when I bought it about 50k miles ago (I am the 2nd owner). It was a Florida car, and has been a North Carolina car since. There are a few paint flaws from being hit in the parking lot, but nothing major. Front tires <100miles! Rear tires have 2-3k on them and look almost new. One rim has a little rash, which was there when I bought the car. No other issues with this car. Sad to see it go, but my patience is done. The car will run and drive wherever you want to go with 0 issues as it is, you just can't charge it at the moment. Auction starting at CarMax's offer, no reserve! DO NOT BID ON THIS CAR IF YOU CAN'T PAY!
