If you are excited about the Cubbies as much as we are, nothing shows your devotion than driving a car that is painted in the Cubs colors. Not only can the Cubs BEAT any team on the field, you can BEAT any car on the road with this statement!
Offered here is one of, if not the, coolest and cleanest cars we’ve ever had for sale: a wonderfully restored, pro-touring 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster. This car was a labor of love for our client, which started in 2002 with no expense spared. Over the next few years, he would invest over $100k into this baby. Money well spent though, as this is a turn-key, show-winning ’67 Vette with incredible body lines and an equally awesome driving experience.
The color combination was inspired by Semon “Bunkie” Knudsen’s 1963 Corvette, who was Vice President of General Motors in the 1960’s before becoming President of Ford Motor Company in 1968. The styling of his 1963 Roadster was iconic for the time and displayed a single stripe with accented pin stripes down the center of the car. Our client, being a Corvette enthusiast, emulated that design for this build. The car is finished in Nassau Blue with a Red stripe over a Red leather interior. The finish is nothing short of beautiful (see photos).
This Pro Touring example is powered by a fuel-injected Corvette LS6 5.7L/405hp V8 engine mated to a Tremic 6-speed manual transmission with rear-wheel drive. It has just 10,500 miles recorded on it, meaning all the common bugs with pro touring builds like this have already been sorted and ironed out. Other options include a Paul Newman conversion, Power Rack and Pinion Steering, Power Z06 Disc Brakes, Corvette Brake Sport Suspension System, Adjustable Rear Suspension, Power Windows, Vintage Air, Removable Hardtop, Telescope Steering Wheel, Dash-Driven 10-Disc CD Changer, Stock-looking Stereo, 18-inch SSR Wheels with new Michelin tires, and Chambered Exhaust (see video). It also has a powder coated soft-top frame, which comes with the car but is not currently installed.
The car also comes with a full receipt and service history list, along with an itemized breakdown of components installed. It is a great value, as you simply cannot build it for the price offered here. The stance, sound, and tastefully customized design are truly breathtaking, and knowing the owner has gone through all the new-build issues makes it truly a fun purchase; not one you will have to take to the mechanic every weekend. All of that headache has already been done.

Thanks for looking!
