2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe 2-Door 3LT Description

Description.Thisis a great deal on a one-owner 3LT 2015 Corvette Stingray Coupe. The car is in nearly new condition. The paint looks fantastic - no scratches or other blemishes detected. To protect the paint from damage due to rocks or other road debris, Xpel clear protector was installed over the entire nose of the car, on the lower sides (front and behind the rear wheels), on the paint side of the rear view mirrors and along both door edges. The interior looks great as well with no tears/holes or scratches on any of the leather. The carpet mats are unused and in new condition since I replaced them with WeatherTech all-weather mats the day after I bought the car - both sets of mats are included in the auction. The car also has the GM blackout badge and lettering kit (the front/rear flags are trimmed in black and “Corvette” is spelled in black as opposed to the original factory chrome that came on the car). The lug nuts are chrome black as opposed to the OEM chrome. The car has no chrome showing anywhere. Blackout tape was applied on the chrome strip of the OEM front grill. All side windows have been professionally tinted. The tinting is in perfect condition but is easily removed by a pro if you don’t want it – the car looks great with it though. Second Skin Damplifier Pro has been added to improve interior acoustics. It has been pre-wired for a radar detector but no radar detector is included in this auction.

There are two light scratches on the removable top (see the photos with white arrows pointing to them). Even with me pointing them out, they’re hard to see because the hard plastic is the same color all the way through. They’re barely noticeable unless you’re looking for them. Everything else is pristine. There’s no curb rash on any of the wheels. The car just passed inspection last month and all service is up-to-date.

The car has not been tracked or wrecked. No one has smoked in it. I keep it garaged. It comes with a genuine Corvette battery tender and privacy netting for the cargo area and a genuine GM indoor/outdoor car cover that has a new retail price of $425– truly the highest quality car cover I’ve ever seen – stretchy and it fits like a glove. I’m also throwing in a set of All-Season Continental tires with about 5,500 miles on them – those set me back over $1,100.

The entire drivetrain is factory original and it has the remainder of the OEM warranty 5 years/100,000 miles on the powertrain and 3 years/36,000 miles on everything else. Currently, it has less than 14.5k miles on it (only 9,000 miles on the summer tires and around 5,500 miles on the all-season tires.

Including the Xpel paint protection, blackout kit, window tinting, sound deadening and radar detector wiring, I have around $80,000 in the car (remember that it’s a 3LT, Corvette’s “loaded” package) so the Buy it Now price is fair given all the extras included (and the reserve price is a steal). BTW, if you try to drive this car in the winter, with the summer tires, you'll almost surely end up in the ditch. So, the all-season tires included in this auction are essential unless you never plan to drive the car in temps below 45 degrees F.

The car is really sharp and ready to drive. I can’t tell you how many compliments I’ve received on it. I’ve sold two cars and two motorcycles on eBay over the past 16 years and still have 100% satisfaction so bid with confidence.

Test Driving the Car

If you have a valid driver’s license, then you’re more than welcome to come and test drive the car as long as I’m in the passenger seat. All I ask is this . . . if you drive it and you like it, I’ll expect you to make a good faith effort to buy it - so serious inquiries only.

The Title

I financed the car through Suntrust Bank so they hold the title. If you are the winning bidder for this car, I’ll contact Suntrust and provide them with your name and contact information and tell them to expect a call from you (or from your bank if you are financing). You will pay Suntrust directly and they will send the title to you or to your bank, whichever is appropriate.

Payment. The winning bidder must pay a $500 non-refundable deposit immediately after auction close and the balance in-full within seven (7) days of auction close. I recommend that you pay the deposit by Paypal because it is immediate but using Paypal is optional. If you choose not to use Paypal, then you must pay the deposit by cash or certified bank check within 24 hours of auction close. After the deposit has been paid, the balance owed must be paid in cash or by bank certified check within 7 calendar days of auction close.Paypal will NOT be accepted for anything other than the $500 deposit. It probably goes without saying but payment-in-full must be made before you can take possession of the car.

Cash Payment procedure- For safety purposes, if you are the winning bidder and you plan to pay by cash, please plan to do so duringnormal banking hours since I will require the transaction to take place at a Suntrust Bank in my area.If you pay the balance owed in the form of cash, of course you can take the car the day you pay. While it should go without saying, a check isn’t cash, so if you pay with any kind of check, authentication of that check must be confirmed before you get the keyfobs.

Bank Certified Check procedure- if you pay by bank certified check (must be from a major U.S. bank), youcannottake possession of the car until the check can be verified as authentic. Authentication could take minutes or even hours – so be forewarned – just depends on the bank as to how long it will take for me to authenticate. If you pay by certified check on a Saturday, Sunday or bank holiday, don’t plan to take possession ofthe car until the next business day since I probably will not beable to authenticate the check until the bank opens. If this doesn't work for you, let me know BEFORE you bid to see if we can work out other arrangements.

Regardless of the payment method you choose, I must be able to verify that payment has been received by Suntrust before I can allow you to take the car.

Shipment. Preferably, you’ll drive the car away. If you bring your own trailer or truck to haul it, you’ll need a long ramp else the air dam may scrub as you drive it onto the trailer (the ground-to-bumper clearance is factory low). Alternatively, you can arrange to have a professional transporter to haul the car – just be sure that they have a long ramp. I will not make arrangements to have the car hauled for you but Ebay can provide you with a list of reputable transporters. If you have the car transported, you may certainly havesomeonecome look the car over and maybe take some photos if you’re not available tosee it in person. I cannot be responsible for any damage that occurs to the vehicle after I give you (or the transporter) the keyfobs; therefore, the car is being sold “as-is, where is” but keep in mind that it still has the balance of the factory warranty remaining if you have any issues.Again, you are welcome to come test drive the car and look it over if you wish.

Good Luck!
