2003 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 LT Description

Ok where to start? This truck is my baby. I bought it with 200,000 from the original owner and it currently has 255,000 and counting. It has NEVER let me down. The original owner was meticulous with care and maintenance and so am I. Ive owned it for about 4 years. Lets start with the truck. Its a 2003 Silverado 4x4 3500 Duramax quad cab. Factory options include:
6.6l Duramax turbo diesel
5 speed Allison automatic transmission
ABS brakes
four wheel drive pushbutton on the dash
leather interior with power heated front seats
heavy duty towing-class three hitch, 7 pin wiring (on hitch and also in bed), brake pulse trailer brake controller ($500 aftermarket unit)

6 disc factory cd Bose stereo system with steering wheel controls

I have also added quite a few options myself since owning the truck. Some for convienience and some for economy and towing power. They include:
Alcoa aluminum wheels
Remote starter system including an alarm system with pager.
larger towing mirrors. which include the factory power, heat and turn signal options. They extend for towing manually
soft roll back tonneau cover
chrome step tube steps
locking GM tailgate handle
Volant cold air intake system with under the bumper air intake
HID lighting system includes high beams, low beams and fog lamps

brush in bed liner and also rubber bed mat
EFI live-this is a 5 setting control that increases power and towing capabilities or reduced will increase fuel mileage. This can be switched 'on the fly' via a dash mounted switch.
under bed goose neck hitch installed brand new by me. Was used once and worked perfect. Also includes in bed trailer wiring for goose neck or fifth wheel towing. There is an optional fifth wheel attachment available for this system.
As far as maintenance, if it needed it, I fixed it. I used the best parts available as I had no plands to sell the truck. These parts were all done within the last three years, many of them this year.

brand new driveshaft (rear) with new u-joints
Also included with the truck is a tri-fold locking hard tonneau cover. The rear section needs some repair but can be used as is. Has keys also. The factory grill and front bumper winter cover are included. The spare tire (shown in bed under rubber bed mat) is in the bed because the spare tire cable is missing from under the truck. I currently have an under hood port for hooking up jumper cables but I will be removing that before the sale. I have a full four piece stainless running board set that came on this truck. If the winning bidder would like them I will sell them for an additional $100.
Now as for condition. The body is very solid. That being said, it is a truck so its not perfect. I tried to show pictures of all the spots. Doors are all solid, there are some small bubbles under a few door handles as shown. Rockers are very solid and will not need to be replaced. Cab corners are the worst spots on the truck and at some point should be fixed. Not through yet. There is a dent on the tailgate but the gate is clean and solid. Piece missing under the right rear taillight. I have the piece so should be an easy fix. Thats pretty much it body wise. Interior is also very nice. Some wear on the edges of the front seats but not ripped open The rest of the interior may have minor wear marks but nothing broken or missing or damages. EVERY option on this truck works as it should. Please note it is a bit dirty in the pictures. I will have it washed and clean the interior before pickup. There is a small chip in the windshield which I will have fixed before pickup and a small chip in one taillight which does not affect use of the light.
I may be forgetting things so please feel free to ask for details, pictures, whatever I can help with. I would not hesitate to drive this truck across country with a fully loaded trailer and back again. It literally needs nothing. It is reliable, powerful, looks great and works like crazy. Buyer will be responsible for pickup of the truck or delivery and any costs for that. I can pick you up at the airport if its arranged ahead of time. Sale of the truck is as is and all sales are final with no warranty. I do owe a little on the truck so we will have to go to the bank to clear the title when sold. There will be a non-refundable deposit of $500 due when the sale ends. The balance due will be cash only on pickup. No checks, no money orders, no cashiers checks. Cash only. All arrangements for pickup will need to be within one week of sales end.
