1951 Chevrolet Styline Deluxe Convertible
1951 Chevrolet Other Description
I'm offering my 1951 Chevrolet Convertible up for sale. I bought this car in August of 2016 from the 3rd owner. The car was parked in a Pennsylvania barn in 1970. Owner before me bought it out of the barn in 1989 and garage stored it until I bought it. I have replaced just about everything that was needed to give this car a mechanical restoration. New battery, belts, regulator, gas tank, all new brakes, brake lines, newer white wall tires, new exhaust, radiator flush, etc. I welded in 3 new floors that were rusty. Inner and outer rockers are in nice shape with no rust out. Only weak areas are the front quarters under the gravel shields. All gauges work with the exception of the original temperature gauge(needle missing). I've added an aftermarket mechanical temperature gauge. Some side glass is cracked however both windshields are in very nice clear shape. Car is equipped with the optional power top. I rebuilt the motor and pump and they work fine. The lift cylinders are rusty and I was afraid to run them so at this point I manually raise and lower the top. Top material is in poor shape. Trunk floor is very solid with a few small rust out areas. Bottom of tire well is rotted away. I've driven this car about 600 miles or so and it drives beautifully. Any questions please just contact me. Contact me if you would like to inspect the car and I will set an appointment up for you. No Paypal on this; cash or certified check that both of us agree on. Payment within 7 days of the sale date.
