1976 Chevrolet El Camino Description

A clean example of a 1976 Chevrolet El Camino classic. It has a brand new crate 350 with under 2k miles. It has a new Edlebrock carb and I have a nice Holley that I will throw in as well. Rust is minimal, especially for a car from this era. The car came with a few paint chips around the headlight bezel. It runs great, and has no discernible mechanical flaws..basically everything works as it should or better. Anything that wasn't up to par has been replaced professionally. This car has been well maintained and it is in beautiful shape. It sounds incredible, runs like a top, and seriously turns some heads. It has a nice little sound system in it equipped with Bluetooth, and new seat belts. This car is a joy to drive, and I've enjoyed my time with it. Thanks for looking.Also- When the sun hits it just right, you can see a beautiful ghost flame job. I'm not a "flame" guy, but when I first saw these flames, after I got it home, washed it, and got it in the sunlight, it was most definitely a bonus. They are too slick to even show up on camera, so you'll have to take my word for it. Selling the car to buy a house, my loss is your gain.

The A/c System still uses the original R12 Freon. It was serviced this summer and did great. If it can beat the heat during the Summer in Dallas, I'm sure it can stand up to just about anything. The car could use new a new tail light bezel on the passenger side. The common problem with these is the plastic used on the originals wears down over time, and this one has done just that. Basically the bulb isn't held in very securely now, so you end up having to replace the bulb every few weeks, or get new housing. There are several for sale on eBay and elsewhere on the web for $60. It needs a new parking brake lever on the driver's side drum. I think the part is around 10 bucks. I haven't had the time to deal with it just yet.
