1995 Chevrolet Tahoe Yukon GT Description

1995 GMC Yukon Tahoe GT, 2 door, 5 speed manual transmission, 4 wheel drive. Fun truck to drive. Good stance and roll pan bumper in rear, rides down the road very well -- looks like a manly truck!
I have owned this truck for about six months and must sell. Don't know history of truck. I think it would be a great snow/winter vehicle. Truck looks fine and is a shiny 10 footer. Needs work in some areas -- I'm not asking $15 or $20K. I drive it almost every day and it is reliable. Starts up every time.
No oil drips or puddles, or water leakage, no smells except when I leave my wet golf bag in the back of the truck. Does not smoke, even on initial startup. Oil level has stayed constant during about 2000 miles that I've driven.
Tires have about half tread, tires are OK for now and you can replace with stock or 35's as you choose. Some emblems are Plasti-Dipped, and easy to return to brightwork. Engine runs well -- starts every time/first time, cylinder compression check (cold) all cylinders 163-170, new idle air control valve. Battery, starter, gas tank (and probably the fuel pump) replaced 6 months ago. Radio works. New exhaust pipe and intermediate exhaust pipe. Power brakes work well although brake vacuum booster makes a 'wush' sound when initially depressing the brake pedal. Booster unit holds tight vacuum. Power steering works well and truck tracks well rolling down the road.
Clutch feels good, transmission makes no abnormal noises, no slip, no grinding, 4 wheel drive engages although I have only tested for about 20 feet six months ago. 4 wheel drive is manually engaged and not the troublesome electrical system. Cruise control works.
Looks good, shines well and reasonably clean inside, most all original features work. Some dirt on edges of carpet could benefit from a deep cleaning. Driver's seat does not match--looks like a different year. Spare tire and bracket currently removed and included with sale. Lights and turn signals, power windows, power door locks, power seats, remote side mirrors, turn signals, front and rear windshield wipers, and washers, heat, etc all work. Items that do not work include emergency brake, back up lights, rear license plate light, dashboard switch to open rear gate lock. One original key and one spare key.
Frame has rust areas weld repaired and rocker panels have been replaced/weld replaced and repainted. Air Conditioning system only held R-134 charge for 2 weeks, compressor worked when charging the system and until leaked out. AC system apparently has a leak somewhere. I decided to defer additional AC work until next spring.
I have registered the truck as historic and did not have it safety inspected. I bought the truck in Pennsylvania and when I bought it they offered the inspection and I declined to pay for it.
I have honestly attempted to list every item that I know about the truck. I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time.
Please read the advert fully and ask questions -- I'll answer promptly. I recently had a person drive a considerable distance, apparently had not read the ad, and thought he was getting a "perfect 10" and this is not. Of course it is not priced as a perfect 10 either. This truck is relisted and price reduced.Deposit of $500 due within 23 hours by paypal. Rest of purchase price in cash due at pickup.
