1996 Chevrolet Corvette Base Coupe 2-Door Description

Hello there!
For sale is my 1996 Corvette. It has been a terrific car. I have owned it over a year and a half. The red paint job really makes this car stands out and it is sure to turn a lot of heads! It's a real powerful car! The only reason I am selling it is that I just recently moved and no longer have the storage space for it. I have put 9,000 miles on it since I've had it and it never once let me down!
I'm going to be straight up honest with this car, about any pros and cons. I'm going to describe the cons *(even small ones) a little more since it's a very nice car as you can see:
Pros:-Sharp looking car-Factory original body-Below 82,400 miles, lots and lots of life in this one!-Great shape for age-Under the hood is very clean for 1996 car, you could tell it has not seen much inclementweather-No cracks in body-High performance and has history of being well maintained-Trunk storage cover that drags out to hide stuff in back-Drove on 3,000 mile cross country trip this summer and car drove awesome in mountains too!-Passed safety and emission without any issues in May
Cons:-A/C never worked since I got it. Blows out heat. Heat works great! Mechanic said it could use freeon recharge but I never used A/C anyways since Vettes are made to drive with windows down. So it was a low priorityfor me! Probably $100 or so they said.-Service Engine Soon light has very seldomsporadically come on over last 6 months. It then goes off usually after a drive or two. Took it into mechanic twice over last 6 months and they can't find issue as to why. Everything reads fine and car doesn't have any engine performance issues. Sounds great and shifts smoothly, so they are stumped and it's always off magically when I take it in. -Hydraulic component in trunk may need some looking into. When press trunk release button inside car sometimes it goes up all the way itself, other times it only goes half way or real slowly up and you just need to help it up.-Some of lights in dash on panel, don't always indicate when "said" button is pressed on. For instance you might indicate you want the air to blow just on your legs and the corresponding light above won't go on but air will still blow/ You just press button again if you want on or off. Just a visual light "error", not a button or command issue. I just recall this happening off and on. Could just be a fuse issue. -Weather stripping near side of front & passenger windows looks worn, common with these. See pics. Looks like someone got locked out a time or two and had to pry open. Just could use some new stripping eventually for look purposes, nothing major and definitelynot required.-Your typical defects you can expect from driving and buying used car: such as rock chips in paint on front, scratches in paint, some door nicks. Nothing major that needs to be touched up, only if you want to make it show car haha.-Front tires look nice and have good tread yet, back could probably use some in 5-10k miles though. Or a swap of the two sets. -Drink Holder lid could use a bit of straightening out when closing, lopsided when closing-Had cd changer in back wired in, although never tried using so not sure if it works-Front driver's seat a little worn wear you set, nothing too bad just see picture
Full payment and pickup are expected within 3 days of purchase! Clean title with notice of loan fulfillment and lienrelease; car ready to sign over to new owner on spot! Pick up only; in Salt Lake City, Utah.
So here it is, what a nice car looking for a new home! This car will fast. Hate to sell it, but I really know someone will be able to appreciate this one. Don't pass it up. Good luck!
