Description:
This Pickup is a complete new build and all the pictures are of its current condition and the entire truck only has around 80 test and tune miles. The underneath is just as clean as the top as it is a complete new build with a high end frame off restoration that has a super bad LS 5.3 with a overdrive transmission. This truck has a killer stance and lots of power and braking to go with it.
Suspension and Chassis:
Original Frame has been modified with a new TCI Mustang II front end and has had a 4 link welded in in the rear to help put the power to the ground. It has QA 1 adjustable coil over shocks on all 4 corners. The frame has been completely sandblasted, epoxy primed and then painted with a single stage PPG gloss black paint along with all suspension parts.
Engine and Drivetrain:
The engine is a modified 5.3 LS engine that came out of a 2006 Chevy truck that had around 80k miles on it. Everything on the engine is new from the pulley system, alternator, water pump, stainless headers, aluminum intake. Complete new GM engine harness with computer that has a performance tune that will give you more horse power and better fuel economy than a factory Chevrolet pickup.
The engine also has new plugs, new wires and new MSD Coil pack billet mounts. The rear end is a Chevrolet 10 bolt out of a 1978 Camaro that has had new axle bearings, new pinion seal, new aluminum differential cover, seal and new synthetic Valvoline lube. A new custom driveshaft was built for this truck that connects to a 4l60e that was out of the same truck.
Body and Paint:
The entire truck was disassembled and every part was painted individually. Most of the parts other than the cab were dipped in a solution that’s takes them to bare steal. Everything on the truck was epoxy primered and base cleared with a Sickens paint in which the silver is the same GM Silver that the new trucks are and the grill, running boards, headlight bezells, Chevy emblems, front and rear bumpers were all painted with a satin black paint by Sickens as well. The entire bed is brand new including fenders, bed sides, tailgate and oak bedwood stained onyx black with 4 coats of polyurethane on both sides. New chains powder coated black. The running Boards are new and the front grill is new as well.
Interior:
The entire cab has had a sound deadener applied to the whole inside (similar to Dynamat). The seats are out of a 2011 Chevy truck and I had them wrapped with black Katzskin Leather including a center console that can flip up to a seat. The steering column and dash are painted the same color as the truck. This ride is equipped with the new Dakota Digital VHX series gauges and their new OBD 2 cable that retrieves all the gauge info’s from the GM computer. This eliminates a lot of unnecessary wiring in the engine bay. The truck has all new door handles inside and outside and new window cranks and new window regulators and window glass. There is a new factory headliner and new door panels that match the seats. A new radio from Retrosounds has also been installed in the factory location.
Wiring:
This truck has had a complete new American Autowire harness installed from front to back including new led black taillights and headlights and complete headlight buckets and housing assemblies. additionally, a new engine fuel injection harness has been installed under the hood and all wires have been routed so they are not seen for a clean look.
Brakes:
There are Wilwood 12.19 slotted rotors and calipers on all four corners for great on the spot stopping. The Power Booster and Master cylinder are mounted under the truck in the factory Location which also keeps the engine bay looking clean.
Wheels and Tires:
The rims are CPP Riddler wheels they are satin black in the center and have a brushed outer lip and all four wheels are 18x9 in diameter, The tires are Goodyear Eagle F1 they are 235/40 r18 all the way around.
This truck comes with most of the paperwork from the parts and accessories installed on this build along with some receipts as well as the spanner wrenches for the coil over shocks.
