This Z06 has been my fair weather weekend car for 9 years; it is never driven in the snow or on salted roads, and has been caught in a spring rain 4 or 5 times. As a Corvette purist, the only mechanical modification made is the 1-4 shift lockout bypass connector. Inside, are Lloyd Z06 floor and deck mats. My car has never been abused – never raced or tracked. I regularly use professional-quality detail products to maintain the interior and exterior of the car, and it shows. Approximately 5,000 miles ago, the stock Goodyear tires were replaced with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 run-flats that have 75-80% of tread remaining.
