1974 Chevy Nova Sedan
1974 Chevrolet Nova Custom Description
Up for auction is a great example of a 1974 Nova Sedan. This is a great daily driving car that is in wonderful running condition with paint and body also in great shape.
I recently bought the car but have run out of garage space with other projects. Unfortunately, I have not had much opportunity to dig into the specifics of the drivetrain but listed below is what I know:
To enjoy:Small block 8, 4 barrel Holly carb, upgraded ignition and fuel pump, automatic with B&M shifter, power steering, A/C and heat, new speakers, AM/FM/tape/aux. Clean interior, tight headliner, body/glass/seals/interior panels in very condition, new paint in original factory color. Axles appear to be stock, suspension and steering have been maintained but are unmodified I believe.
To fix:There is some cancer creeping into the lower quarter panels on both sides near the wheel wells (as usual with these kind of cars). None of the rust has penetrated into the door frames or inner panels as best as I can tell. Dash pad is cracked in a few places. Some of the door panel upholstery needs to be tucked back into the door seams better. Rear bumper has a small dent. Small tear on front seat. Steering box has a small, occasional leak (just needs new seals I believe). Automatic shifts a little hard, nothing a flush and new fluid shouldn't solve.
It still turns heads and gets a lot of compliments since you don't see the sedan often in good condition. Title clear and in hand. Car runs very smooth and is ready to drive away.
