1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description

For sale is one of the nicest '55 Chevy's around. This car is straight as an arrow, has never been hit, and drives like a dream. Itunderwent a complete restoration in '07. The body was soda blasted and taken down to bare metal where very little rust was found. There were only 2 small rust spots beneath the doors and one on the roof, all of which were professionally repaired. The hood has been modified and had the crease taken out of the center. The bumpers have been modified with the guards removed, and then re-chromed. All the chrome has been replaced and shines beautifully. The car has alsobeen lowered 3 inches with drop spindles. The motor is a 350 crate motor from Chevy, makes about 300 hp,and has about 12,000 miles since being installed. The transmission is a Muncie 4 speed with Hurst shifter. This car is mechanically sound and has had almost every part replaced. This is my father's car, and if you are seriously interested send me an e-mail and I will give you his phone number. He can answer any questions you may have. A great amount of money has been put into the restoration of this car, and you could never restore one to this quality for the reserve price. Here are some of the specifics about the car:

  • Holley 650 dual feed 4 barrel carburator, manual with choke.
  • New front disk brakes and rotors.
  • New rear brakes with new drums and self adjusters.
  • New A-Frame Bushings, ball joints, springs, and belts
  • 373 gears in rear end.

I have added pictures of the interior, engine, and restoration. Some of these pictures have been scanned, so they are not the greatest quality, and do not come close to doing the car justice. I strongly suggest you take the time to come and see this car in person. You will be happy you did!
