We just picked up this amazing 1949 Chevrolet 3800 1 Ton Thriftmaster flatbed truck that is inunbelievableoriginal condition. This has to be one of the cleanest, most solid old trucks we have seen in a very long time. It is rust free and every panel is solid and straight. The hardware even turns easy and appears to be untouched. The interior is in great shape and original.Nothing has been cut, changed or modified. It even has the push button starter on the floor.We have a new carpet kit that is included, as well as a headliner, pedal rubber, door cards and replacement glass for the driver's door.
We just installed an updated 235 from a 1959 truck that was overhauled recently that looks amazing and runs great! It starts right up without even having to pull the manual choke. It has also been converted to 12 volts with a new alternator and a brand new battery.
This would be theultimateshop truck, or perfect for a micro brewery, winery, garden center, or any other business looking for a great marketing vehicle. We included a picture of how you might want to restore it. However, we love the patina.
