2002 Corvette, Electron Blue, Light Oak, Low Miles, Rare Immaculate Condition
2002 Chevrolet Corvette Leather Description
Surf Side C-5 as the 2002 salesposter and brochurerelated featuring an illustration of this blue Corvette on the beach seemingly reminiscent of the popularity ofthe colorblue in earlier C-2s and C-3s in that setting. This is about as close to a one owner as a two owner vehicle can get. I bought it with very low mileage fromBayer Motors, amulti facility premier Chevrolet dealership in the metro Ft. Worth, Texas area. The salesman related that it had been sold to a gentleman who did not really know what he wanted at first and being such a good customer they took care of him by accepting it back and setting him up in a new truck. It was on the showroom floor when I purchased it in very near new like condition. It remains with very low miles and has had exceptional carewith myself as the only driver. I received my Corvette care education at an early age from an older friend whocorrected me for pulling the door closed on his car with the first attempt saying that a "Corvette Man" never gets the door closed on the first try and it may take three tries. Further, that you must lift your seatoff the car seat instead of draggingacross it. I never forgot that. The condition throughout is exceptionally fine as you see in the photos. The front end is clean as bugs were always removed before they could bite into the finish. The wheels are free of any deep marks and even the typical superficial swirl scratches are absent. Usual points of road gravel impact are clean without a loss of paint. Interior features are exceedingly nice with no wear whatsoever on the carpeting even at the raise just behind the seats where it usually mats down is instead standing straight up just like brand new. The engine and transmission perform to perfection and I know of no mechanical problems throughout. It is ready for tire replacements and while I could give you a tread depth measurement, instead want you to understand it is time and want you to be safe. I just today replaced the battery with a new original type AC Delco. It is heavily loaded with options including in the Preferred Group II, duel zone air, sport seats, duel power seats, memory, heads up display and more. Also polished wheels, 6-speed manual transmission, two removable roof panels with cover for the extra, cassette player and trunk mounted loadable cd changer and more. The exhaust has been upgraded tothe expensivestainless steel lifetime Borla systemwhich gives that more throaty power sound. My reserve is quitereasonable and the buy it now price is at or near the average I took of several of the "blue books" in the industry for such quality. I reserve the right to end the listing at any time if sold and a local Chevrolet dealership is considering putting it on their showroom floor. Sounless youventure to risk that feeling we all know of letting the other guy or gal get it away from you, I recommend going ahead and hitting the tab to make it yours. I am service oriented and will go the extra to help in most any way to completethe transfer of this exceptionally fine Corvette. Best of luck to all.
