1990 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 454ss Description

Up for auction is my 1990 454SS C1500 with 60545 miles.

• The truck is in really nice shape and turns heads with "Thumbs Up" every time I drive it.
• Vehicle is 100% stock, with no modifications, except for the original rebuilt motor, a hidden Hitch Slide, Bed Rails, Bed Liner. and an adapter to play music from a headphone connection over the stereo.
• Original 7.4l (454 CI) motor was rebuilt at 55,424 miles, so about six thousand miles on it now.
• A/C blows COLD and the pictures of the interior speak for themselves.

NOTE: This is not a show truck, nor a daily driver. It is a low mileage truck that has not been garaged. The paint / stickers look good, but are showing wear from weather. From 10 ft away, the truck looks incredible and the interior is in excellent shape. I bought this truck about 2 years ago from my brother. He bought it in 2003, with 54580 miles on it. It was his toy, but other projects took over and it was removed from his garage, and it sat out in the weather. Over time, the fuel pumpwent out on it(the 2 inch hose between the pump and the assembly rotted in the tank), and it sat for a few years before I bought it. I've had fun fixing it up and reliving the 90's while driving it, but it's time to let someone else to enjoy it.
If I were looking to buy it, I would want to know the following areas of opportunity:

• Driver's outer door window seal - I replaced when I put in the new regulator and motor, but it appears to have warped (See Last Picture)
• Hood paint is dull and could use repainting - Bob Maloney Body Shop Quoted me $300
• Small pit/chip on the windshield that is hardly noticeable
• Interior lights do not light up when the door is opened (All other lights function as intended)
• Windshield washer fluid motor only sprays about 1/2 way up the windshield.
• Speakers are 27 years old and if this was going to be my daily driver, I would plan to replace them.

I have tons of documentation on this truck since my brother purchased it in 2003, including the receipt from the rebuild. If you are looking for something specific, please let me know.
As with any vehicle, I STRONGLY encourage you to personally inspect it, or have it inspected by a third party. If you would like to inspect the vehicle, I am available in the evenings and on the weekend, and also have some availability during the week at my office. I will ensure the motor is cold when you arrive, so you can hear it from a cold start. Ihad a friend who's car was totaled on a test drive and he was left with nothing from the driver, so you are welcome to ride with me on a test drive and I will perform any performance maneuvers you like, but I will be the driver.
