1961 Chevrolet Corvair Greenbrier Description

1961 Greenbrier with a 1964 110hp engine. This van didn't see winter for it's first 50k miles. Then was purchased by Don Cekus, Vice President of Western PA Corvair Owner's Club for miles 50k-85k. It being Don's personal van it was thoroughly gone over and well maintained as he works on may peoples Corvairs in the area. I have owned in for the past year/10k miles. In that time it has still been maintained by Don, has been a garage kept daily driver, and has gone on a handful of 500+ mile roadtrips. This van easily does 75mph smooth down the highway with 8 full grown adults in it. 3:27 ratio, 4 speed manual, front and rear anti-sway bars, switched to electric fuel pump, recently replaced brake shoes, extra brake drums, extra rear axle w/good wheel bearing, modern retro stereo w/aux input. Body does have a few rough areas as pictured as well as a slight dent in front. Underneath is solid and has been coated at some point, floors and frame are solid. Don't know what more to say, having belonged to a Corvair enthusiast/mechanic everything works as it should or better.
