1955 Chevrolet Other Pickups Base Description

most of these cab over trucks are beat to death and are a major project. this one has been well taken care of and considering the year, is exceptional. the previous owner told me themiles are actual and I believe it. this truck runs, drives and stops well. the rear axle has been changed to a 4:10 ratio single speed with disc brakes and 3:55 gears are available for the rear if you want to run 75 with it. the 10 hole wheel pattern is the same. there is a new firewall mounted master cylinder, booster and brake pedal assembly. all lights work. rear lights upgraded to all l.e.d.. tires are all 19.5 and are in good condition. there is some rust on the body but should be an easy, and I mean easy fix. 12 v system w/ alternator. there are holes in the doors from people mounting different mirrors over the years but no rust through. again, an easy fix. glass is good with some hazing of the windshield but not much. at some point the body and frame were repainted but it could stand a repaint if you want it perfect. the bench seat is from a chevy van and brackets need to be fabbed to properly secure it.
