She's a 1949 Chevy Short Box with a rebuilt 235 6 cylinder motor, but not restored on the motor'soutside, the reasoning was tohave the original look under the hood. 12 volt charging system. The truck's mechanical components have been completely restored, new brakes, new wheel cylinders and master cylinder. The motor starts on the first turn and runs quiet, no lifter noise, fires on all 6 cylinders, no smoke, no oil, or coolant leaks. The front end is tight and steers easy, the truck rides and drives great. The brakes stop straight, no pulling to the left, or to the right.The interior has been all redonealong with sound deadener throughout the cab.All the windows are new glass,and new seals. There are no rustholesanywhere in, or onthis truck. All the body panels are original to the truck, the cab corners are original with no rust, or previous repairs. The floor and kick panels are original rust free factory metal. The interior is very tastefully done throughout. The doors open and close perfect, no saggy hinges. The steering box has no excessive play, anddrives straight down the road.The windows go down and back up easily, new window channels. All the lights work, the battery is new, the tires are new Goodyear Riverton 16" radial wide whites with 0 miles. The stainless trim and chrome are in exceptional condition.
