This sale contains a 2003 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 50TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION!
We understand that there has been a lot of confusion about the report from the service ebay has to check theVIN number on cars. As explained below, this car does not have 120K miles on it, ithas 11,667 original exact miles. It was never in an accident or has had any problems. When it was paid off by the insurance companyalong with 1000's of other cars in the same neighborhood during a hurricane (which is what the insurance companies do as they just put down 120K miles regardless of mileage and total the car regardless of condition when they have 1000's of cars that have to be paid on a disaster like the one that this car was part of. In other words, they don't check anything except the car was claimed, and theyknow every car ina mile in every direction is claimed so they just bulk-total all of their insured people (only the big insurance companies do it this way) to get them their money to get new cars with) The carpet and seat controller under thepassenger seat was damaged, and they totaled a $30,000 car for that!! They carpet was replaced, the seat controller was replaced, and the car was recertified by state inspectors to get a title for it to be able to sell it. Thenspecialty corvette rebuilder replaced those things and sold it to me.
To prove this to anyone that wants to buy this car, I will offer a service called "Wegolook" which is an Ebay partnerto come and fully check the car out for you if you are serious about buying it. I will even pay the bill for thisservice. They will certify that everything I am saying is 100% correct and the car is in as mint of condition as a 2003 corvette with 11,667 miles could possibly be! That will take ALL thedoubtaway if you don't believeme. They will give you a detailed report on EVERYTHING including driving the car and everything in it down to how much tread/air is on/in the tires! The service is 100-150 dollars and I will pay for it to prove everything I say is 100% correct. Don't let this beauty get passed up! I wouldn't even be selling it if I didn't have 2 other cars and no time to drive this 3rd one!
Thanks for reading!
This beautiful adult driven corvette has super low mileage! Only 11,600 original miles! The car runs and smells like brand new! (since when have you bought a pre-owned car with the new car smell still in it!?!?)
I purchased this car in 2013 with 8600 miles on it. Since I don't drive it much, I see no need to have it sitting around so I decided it's time to pass the keys to someone that would give the car the love, care, and driving it deserves!
If you have any questions on this car, feel free to email and I will answer any and all questions. To the best of my knowledge, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this car! It runs, drives, looks, and performs incredible and is 100% stock (except for the floor mats which were 50th anniversary corvette mats bought on Ebay). This car was NEVER raced in any way and I'm the 2nd owner of it knowing exactly who the first owner was and exactly how he drove it!
PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle will come back on the auto check report as a Major Issue (a whole slew of things since it was originally a Hurricane Car (a car that that paid off by the insurance company and sold at a private dealer which in turn sold it to me) It was flooded up to the floor boards with the only thing damaged being the passenger seat control box which was obviously replaced along with all the carpeting (hence the brand new car smell!). Since buying it in 2013, I have had it checked out on 3 different occasions and each time it was golden! (two times right after I bought it just to make sure that the car was 100% perfect as it was claimed to be and a third time to have a new battery installed and the systems checked out while they were at it).
As I stated, everything in this car is beautiful and works perfectly. When an insurance company totals 1000's of cars from hurricanes in various degree of needed repairs, they check all sorts of things on the reports. This is the only time this sort of thing happens. Other than a major weather problem where cars get claimed, the reports are usually 100% accurate. Although, if you check, you will not find anything in particular wrong with the car on the report since there isn't anything and when there was it was wet carpet and a $300 seat controller that was replaced. I welcome ANYONE to come by and check this car out to see that everything I am saying is 100% correct. Bring your mechanic if you like! He will pass it with flying colors in every way! If you do want tocheck the car out, I must require that people only 21 years of age or older be shown the car since insurance regulations on these cars do not allow drivers under the age of 21 to drive them and be covered (on my policy anyway lol).
Lastly, just to show you that the auto report is wrong, if you look, it shows the odometer reading has a problem. You look it up and it says it may not be correct. But then you lookat it further down the page and find that there is no problem and there is a green check next to it!The miles you see on this car are the exact miles. No more, noless! The car has never beenin any accidents and has never been hit!! It was sitting in a garage on theboardwalkon the eastern seaboard when the hurricane waters came up to the hill it was garaged on and when it was reported to insurance, along with every car on the seaboard regardless of problem or condition, the insurance company just paid the car off and sold it to recoup some of their money they paid out. It happens all the time. Ijust wanted to clarify that so that every buyer understands that this is a car exactly as advertised and in beautiful condition like new!
This car has the heads up display and the Anniversary red color that the 50th anniversary corvettes are known for! Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer but we can help find a shipping company to get the car to you. The average price is $550-$800.00 to ship a car across the United States.
