1986 Chevrolet Blazer Silverado Package Description

I am an auto service shop NOT an auto dealer. This 86 K-5, 4x4 Blazer is mostly stock. It has a stock 350 with a Quadrajet 4-barrel, 4 speed automatic with overdrive and 4 wheel drive. 21570 miles are on the odometer, but the engine and transmission both have 100 miles on them. Oil pressure is 60 lbs hot. I purchased it from a guy who started restoring it and then lost interest. He did all the body work, paint work and interior work. The paint looks great from 20 feet. (Has a few blemishes on it) The interior has new front bucket and rear fold down, fold up bench seats recovered in light blue velour. New carpet and for the most part, all the interior panels are good. The topper has sliding side windows with fold out vent windows, roof rack and a manual rear roll down window. Has the spare tire rack in the rear. It comes with a set of 2004 aluminum GM wheels with Michelin 225 x 70 x 16 tires to maintain the original tire diameter. It also comes with an additional set of aftermarket aluminum rims with 33 x 12.50 x 15 Super mud swomper tires (See pictures) they have lots of tread on them but they are old. One set to drive on, one set to play on. 3:42 front and rear gear ratio. This truck has tilt, power windows, power door locks, pulse wipe, A/C, Power steering, power brakes, 4 speaker AM/FM Cassette with clock, cruise control and auto 4x4 front axle.

Here is what I have done to it; (Note, all these parts are NEW!) Battery, Windshield, (I asked the guy to wait on installing the windshield so I could fix any rust, but there wasn't any) windshield wiper motor, wiper blades, all new rear end bearings, new axle, rear brake shoes, rear brake drums, rear wheel cylinders and hold down kits.Front rotors, calipers and brake pads.Complete transmission overhaul to include all internal beefed uphard and soft parts as well as torque converter, Rebuilt 350, (Rings, bearings, seals, gaskets, brass freeze plugs, water pump, heads) with a 4x4 cam, lifters, timing chain set made for this truck by Comp Cams. Great bottom end torque and excellent fuel mileage, HEI ignition with new cap, rotor, wires and plugs. NEW Hooker dual exhaust with Thrush mufflers going OVER the cross member. A/C completely replaced, (Compressor, evaporator, dryer, orifice tube, flushed and seals), New front and rear shocks, all rubber fuel lines, fuel pump, fuel tank removed and cleaned, new fuel cap, glass fuel filter, 76 Quadra jet off a 350 Chevelle with fresh rebuild on it, Rebuilt front drive shaft, All new belts and hoses with fresh antifreeze. New Aluminum core heavy duty radiator. (This truck can idle with the A/C on high all day long and runs 165 degrees. The front axle has been gone through as well as the transfer case. It drives straight, has lots of power, Ice cold air and stops great.

This is NOT a show truck nor is it 100% perfect, (Although it’s almost there). It has the typical issues all Blazers had. EX; windows are slow going up, doors don't fit perfect, weather strips are old and cracked, drive train noise. It's about a 9 on a "Blazer scale" from 1 to 10. No rust holes anywhere I can find.I purchased this truck for my son but he decided he wants a Pries.

I have a walk around video of it on my face book site in the video section:facebook.com/pg/DLSacauto/videos
