2006 Chevy Silverado RWD 5 speed manual.Super reliable, rock solid truck.I purchased it this past March from a dealership (Suburban Chevrolet in Clinton, MI). They did the usual full bumper to bumper inspection.I did a lot of searching and looked at many trucks before deciding on this one.It has brand new tires (Mastercraft Courser AXT’s $700) and a brand new professionally installed clutch ($1000).I wanted a truck I could put heavier tires on to get through the deep sandy soil of the 2 track my cabin is on in NW Michigan.Loggers recently laid road mix over the 2 track to make their lives easier. That means I can now get my Ram with street tires to the cabin without a problem and no longer need the Silverado. Two minor issues arethe check engine light has been on the entire time I’ve owned it.It’s due to either an EVAP or O2 sensor needing replacement.Truck runs strong so after putting on the tires and clutch I didn’t bother spending the money to replace them. Also, the blower motor for heat and AC is either on or off, there is no selecting the speed.
