2005 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT QUADRASTEER 4WS Description

Often thought to be newer than 2005 and confused as an Escalade Special Order. This is an extremely rare truck.RARE: SPECIAL ORDERED AS A CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500 EXTCAB.
Being a 1500 half-ton with Quadrasteer the truck drives like a Corvette and is easy to park. Chevrolet made very few of the these trucks not being 3/4 tons and heavy duty.

GMC made the Denali with these features, but all were full time awd; this truck has the unique feature of 2wd, Auto 4x4, 4x4 etc on the dash. The Four Wheel Steering Quadrasteer option was last available in 2006. Only Audi SUV and Acura now offer this option for vehicles priced starting at $60k, but NO trucks are available; at slower speed the front and rear turn opposite to cut the turning radius to that of a Honda Accord (by 2ft of std) and at highway speed the front and rear turn the same to make lane changes more efficient. 5.3L V8 engine.
The other great feature that makes it drive like a Corvette are the Cadillac Escalade 22 inch wheels and All Weather tires. Snow handling is fantastic too.
Factory installed trailer towing package. Sprayed bedliner in excellent condition.Right rear fender has a small 2 inch cut in lower fender (purchased with cut 5 years ago) is hard to see and has not changed.
The truck is tastefully fully optioned in Dark Blue Matellic with Dark Tan Leather seating. No Rust. Recently has had a tune up with new platinum spark plugs good for another 100,000 miles. Heated front seats and factory XM Stereo and "Working" Hands free OnStar dialing and safety. You will NOT find another better full optioned truck anywhere in the USA.
We have too many cars and trucks, and it is too nice to keep as a garage Queen. Purchased from original owner in Oregon 5 years ago with 37,000 miles. Driven across country several times with wonderful ease.
