Priced to sell Again!!!, 1979 5.7 Liter Camaro Z28 with 56k miles, due to winning bidder failing to pay, whose eBay ID I will not mention (2966d*#k, rhymes with luck, and it is a water bird with a broad blunt bill, short legs, webbed feet, and a waddling gait). The aforementioned bidder asked me to take the Z28 out of its secure air conditioning storage so a relative of his could view it. (All of which could and should have been done prior to bidding) I did as requested but no such relative showed. And to further aggravated the situation upon driving the car back to storage the front windshield was struck by some form of debris causing about an 8” hairline fracture (see pictures in photo bucket) which can be replaced by Safelite Auto Glass for $246.04 with built in antenna at your home. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to wait for their 2-4 response. You may validate this by calling them directly at ph. # 877-465-5224. I am takingthe repair amount into consideration, therefore lowering my asking and reserve price.
So here goes once more. 1979 5.7 Liter Camaro Z28 with 56k miles! This head turning Z28 was a one owner Florida car (see below link), myself being the second and new owner. The Z28 has a clear and clean Florida. The title is not rebuilt, salvaged, duplicated, nor are any liens placed upon it-(see attached link below). This Z28 was previously owned by mature car collector, never used for racing or modified or tampered with for such. The car has 56,507.7 miles, with brand new P245/60/15’s all around (widest tire you can install, while keeping the original factory rims and having no rubbing issues)., new brakes front and rear, all new belts and hoses, new radiator and heavy duty fan clutch, new dryer and conversion to 134A (cold) air conditioning, new transmission overhaul including torque converter (with 5 remaining months of warranty), a completely new stainless steel Magnaflow dual exhaust. stemming from the original exhaust manifold to rear original style OEM tips (no catalytic converter). A complete tune up was performed on 07/14/15, with coil, cap, rotor, wires, AC Delco spark plugs, all new fluids and filters. New wiper blades.
This is a fully loaded options car minus T-tops, as attested by the ASE certified mechanic (see invoice photo) who performed all the work on the Z/28 and found the casting numbers on the motor (see photos), advised that this Z/28 appears to have the original motor, and correct appearance and wear for a 56k mile/37 year old car (see invoice photo).
This Z/28 has all true and correct badging (interior exterior) and stripes. All 1979 Z/28 must have a slot and correct emblem in the center grill, as well as on the fuel door (and it is not red, white and blue, but chrome with black striping and a gold bowtie). Original spare tire and hardware. The cars body and stance are straight from any angle. The paint is like new with an incredible metallic gloss finish (the car was professionally painted in 2014 (Corvette Blue) by the previous owner. The cars rims are painted with the same finish and have all 4 new center caps. The interior is in good condition with all functioning original GM seatbelts. Ihave receipts for all the aforementioned work (except paint), original owner’s manual, brochure and the original leather key chain (37 years old) given to the previous owner when he purchased the car. This Z28 is garaged kept and I have never driven it on rainy days. Please contact me for further information, questions, and pictures of a part of the car that are not posted.
