Corvette Split Window1963
First year “Stingray”.Revolutionary Design and build.Very rare Split Window.
A rare Survivor example with one recoat and one re-carpet.Records document this low mileage car.A beautiful color combination of Ermine White with a Red interior.
This car was originally a California car.Documentation shows service records in California until 1991 when the car had 13,687 miles. Records show it later sold and was brought to North Carolina where it now garaged and has 16,746 original miles.
Corvette introduced the radically new aero-designed “Stingray” in 1963. This design was revolutionary in many ways. The sleek fiberglass body with hidden headlights and rear split window “boat - tail” rear made a big impression. This was the start of something very special. The split rear window was unique to just the 1963 model and was replaced in 1964 with a one piece rear window. That makes this car easily identified as the first of the Stingrays and highly desirable to collectors and Corvette fans worldwide.
Part of a Collection for many years this is a rare opportunity to own a part of Corvette history in a stunning combination of White and Red.
