1969 Chevrolet Impala 427 SS / Caprice Tribute Description

Offered for auction is this beautiful 69 Impala SS/Caprice tribute. Owned and cared for by last owner for 29 years! He worked for many years at GM dealerships in parts and performed this conversion with many original new GM parts and a donor 427 SS. At the time of the conversion he also bought a new crate GM 454. If you look close all the correct components are in place just like factory. The hide away headlamps work and have all the factory pieces. This Impala also has the rare factory headlamp washer option. Everything works on this car including the clock. The exterior paint has a nice gloss shine with only minor touch-ups from use, certainly show worthy. The interior is excellent and shows well with buckets, console, horseshoe shifter, GM Rosewood steering wheel and tilt column. The last owner also added a Home Link Temp/Compass rear view mirror.The under hood area is detailed and has the correct SS 427 appearance. The power top operates as it should and is in nice condition,no holes or tears and has the glass back window. The top boot is also in nice condition. The trunk has been fitted with GM style inserts and has a clean up kit in the side. The spare is a Tiger Paw redline complete with original jacking tools. The underside of the car is in original condition and has not had load of undercoat to cover surprises. Power options are: Power steering, Power Disc brakes and Power top.
