1998 Chevrolet Express MARK III LX Conversion Description

I am the second owner of this van. I purchased it 4 years ago from a customer that brought it in for service at our repair shop. It had somewhere around 160,000 miles and needed nothing more than a water pump. Since then I've replaced both engine and transmission with Jasper Remanufactured Engine & Transmission with a 3 year 100,000 mile nationwide warranty. The van has about 3,000 miles on it since the replacement and the warranty has roughly 2 years left of coverage. The tires are 2 year old General Grabbers with 10,000 miles on them and plenty of tread left with no dry rotting. Rear bumper has rust coming through on the right side. Front and rear A/C works but the heat in the rear was deleted during the engine and trans replacement. The heater control knob for the mode selection needs replacing. The blinds were gone along with the rear bench seat belt receivers. Rear bench folds down to a bed with a push of a button. Air compressor in the rear has a hose that reaches to every wheel on the van with ease. The carpet has stains from the previous owner that I couldn't get out. Last I checked the replacement carpet is still available for $500. The interior is fitted with 4 captain's chairs, the second row pair of seats come out with ease and with the seat in the rear folded down camping is a pleasure. There's a 13" Television and VCR with remote in the overhead, not sure if it works because I don''t have any VHS tapes. We used it mostly for a back up in case heavy rain came on we ditch the tent and use the rear bed. It came in useful plenty of times. The driver's seat has visible wear and the armrest leather is torn. Overall for the amount of miles on the chassis it's in really good shape. Comes with 2 sets of keys and remotes. It was a daily driven van until six months ago and has been sitting since. We took her out for a drive just this past weekend and she felt smooth as ever.
