1977 Chevrolet Corvette Description

This is a 1977 custom Corvette, the last year before they went to the bubble back glass style.
350 'vette engine, turbo trans, automatic with slap stick. This beast sounds AMAZING, super fun to drive.
98,400 actual miles, interior is nice, raised hood, razor rims, headers, oversized cam, and JVC 12 pack CD changer with remote and 50 power amp.
Always garaged. Just brought it to Carrollton, GA from north AR with no problems.
Have paperwork showing more than $18,000 worth of restoration work done throughout the years.

Mechanical:
Original 350 engine and th350 transmission
The engine does have a mild cam in it and long tube headers. The exhaust note sounds great.
The valve cover gaskets were just replaced and there are no other oil leaks at this time.
Quadrajet carburetor that works very well. Runs a little rich on the left bank, but starts right up and idles well.
This is a factory air car and the ac does work, although it may need a topping off of refrigerant after the winter.
The heater core was just replaced with a copper and brass unit like the original factory core. The heater hoses were also replaced at this time.
Brake calipers are notorious on these cars for leaking, but this has been addressed by changing all 4 brake calipers to the o-ring style conversions to keep the calipers from leaking. This is an expensive, but important, upgrade to these year model corvettes.
Brand new Cooper Cobra tires, not shown in photos (had them replaced three weeks ago).

Body:
This is a custom job on this fiberglass body car.
Most notably, the front end is a custom 80-82 conversion that has been molded in so there is no body seams left on the car. Also has the custom hood and the headlight conversion to get rid of the pop up headlights. The rear was molded in as well and a bubble tail light conversion was done. The side marker lights were shaved and molded in. This is the last year of the vertical back glass, which was just resealed to keep the rain out.
The paint and body work was done about 15 years ago, but has been garage kept and is in really good shape overall. There is a paint nick or two on the car, and there are a few cracks in the fiberglass body in the usual places. They haven't grown or become worse since we have owned the car.
The car comes with 2 sets of t-tops. The original set and a set of glass tops.
I would say the overall condition of the exterior is 8.5 to 9 out of 10.
Interior:
Car has a very nice interior. Nothing is broken or not working. No rips in the seats or carpet. The leather seats are not ripped or torn and are still supple.
All gauges are in working order. The tachometer was just rebuilt with a new control board, and the center gauge cluster has a new printed circuit board installed. Power windows work well, but are a little slower than a new car.
Heat and air work well.
Has a pioneer tape deck with a cd danger and sound bar under the rear storage area.
This is a very fun car to drive. It will not be maintenance free. It is 39 years old. You will get tons of looks and thumbs ups from people as you cruise in this classic. This body style is becoming more collector friendly as well. I don't think you will find better lines on a corvette than the c3 body style.
