1987 Chevrolet Corvette Base Hatchback 2-Door Description

Hello!
Up for auction is my 1987 Chevrolet Corvette that was built by John Lingenfelter's shop in Decatur, IN back in 1989! The car has LOW, original miles (73k), and just needs some love to make it show-worthy! MY RESERVE IS MUCH* LOWER THAN BUY IT NOW PRICE!
There is a video on YouTube of the car, though eBay won't let me link to it. YouTube search: "1987 Chevrolet Corvette - Lingenfelter-Built" by Jacob Mack
I'll try to tell you everything I know about the car, and will update description with anything I've accidentally left out. I acquired the car in a trade for my '67 Olds Delta only 2 months ago, and frankly, I kind of miss having an old car to tinker with. I've driven this one plenty, and it's VERY responsive and quick.. A BLAST to drive, but I've found I prefer the older cars.
Pros:
-I've included pictures of all of the paperwork on the Lingenfelter build so you know it's a legitimate, Lingenfelter-built Corvette. The cam makes is sound AMAZING.. **See Video** YouTubeSearch "1987 Chevrolet Corvette - Lingenfelter-Built" by Jacob Mack
-.
-Car has 3.07 gears and pulls HARD. Original owner had car up until just a couple years ago, I was told, and he took good care of it.
-It has low, original miles
-The car hardly leaks.. just a couple drops of oil a week, and I've driven it as much as possible in good weather!
-The car runs SMOOTHLY, shifts SMOOTHLY, and drives GREAT and STRAIGHT!.. stops WELL.
-The body is in great shape, and fitment is still pretty all right.
-The car is in excellent mechanical shape.. all work at Lingenfelter's shop is listed in paperwork / pictures
-The dash is in great shape!
-Original owners manual is included!
-The car, surprisingly, gets about 20-22MPG on our country roads where I live! It's a fast car with relatively great gas mileage!
-Someone installed an electric fan with a switch off of steering column. It definitely helps the car out in warm weather!
Cons.. its needs are primarily cosmetic, but I'll list them all starting with the things that involve function that need attention:
-The RH headlight motor only goes up part of the way on its own, but it will go down all on its own. I believe this to be a contact point in the motor housing. I've had the motor apart and rebuilt gears, but it didn't fix the issue.
-The car needs mufflers.. it's STRAIGHT PIPES right now*. If you dig straight pipes, then this is not an issue. However..
-Without mufflers, car can be hard starting since the computer is trying to sense back pressure. If you give it 3 seconds or so with ignition on, it'll fire every time. I believe this is also causing the "service engine soon" light, though I haven't read the codes on it.
-Anti-lock light JUST came on, but the car stops well with good pressure in brake pedal.
-There are some chips and some spider-webbing on front bumper, as well as oxidation on top of rear bumper - rest of body is in great shape!
-The steering wheel is well-worn
-The driver seat has rips and is well-worn
-Driver window sill needs to be fixed. New seals are included with purchase, though*
-Carpet throughout interior ranges from OK to poor shape. See the photos of rear cargo area, in particular. Door panels are in OK shape, except for carpet on bottom halves.
-Window/top seals do leak slightly in a hard rain.
-Headliner on removable top is sagging slightly in a couple small* patches.

Overall, it's a great, fast car that needs the right owner willing to invest a little time and money into mostly the interior. It's a blast to drive, gets tons of looks, and sounds amazing. It will make a GREAT winter project! Or, if you're more ambitious, it'd look awesome under that giant Christmas tree in the yard.
