1972 Chevrolet C-10 4X4 shortbed
1972 Chevrolet C-10 Cheyenne Description
Up for auction is a beautiful 1972 Chevrolet Short bed 4X4 pickup. This truck is rust free and looks and runs great. It has 8K miles on the rebuilt motor, and the title says exempt on the mileage portion, but the rancher I bought it from said it has less than 100K original miles on it, and runs and drives like it. This pickup started out as the sea mist green and white color combo, which I did not particularly care for those colors, so I tore it down to a shell, and repainted it inside and out hugger orange and white. The paint turned out very nice, not perfect but nice. I added some of the Cheyenne options, which it did not come stock with, but always thought it looked much nicer than the bone stock look. Here is a list of everything that has been done to it since I have owned it.
New paint ( inside and out)
New lower molding (LMC truck)
Rebuilt 350 engine(w/new edelbrock carb and intake, rblt starter, rblt alternator, rblt, water pump)
New seat upholstery
New carpet
New emblems
New door seals
New grill
New tires (95% tread left)
New front brakes. Rears are about 70%
New steering wheel
All the the glass is good, all the lights and blinkers work, bumpers are in good shape, and the windows roll up and down like they should. The truck itself is not perfect by any means, however it is one nice looking, running, and driving rig. Definitely good to go for another 20 years without having to do anything to it, but maintain it. I am sure I'm forgetting some stuff, so please ask any questions you can think of, (except for what my reserve is, unless you would like to make an offer, and I may consider it. Otherwise this is an auction) and I will answer them as best I can. If you have less than 10 dealings on ebay, please contact me prior to bidding, or I will cancel your bid. A $1000 deposit is due immediately at the close of auction. Thank you.
