2008 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Edition for sale by owner. Only 1,500 original miles. Car is absolutely brand new and was purchased from Ray Skillman's collection with only 9 miles in 2010. Fresh AC Delco battery. 3LT options include heads up display (HUD), Navigation, Bose 7-speaker premium stereo/CD player, steering wheel radio controls, dual mode exhaust, power convertible top, and chrome wheels. 6-speed manual transmission.
Car has LED strobe lights professionally installed to look and work just like the real pace car that paced the Indy 500 race in 2008--a $2,000 installation. The rear tail lights currently have the amber (European configuration) which allows for amber strobe lights. The original solid red tail lights will be included with the car.
Car is number 167 of 500 produced and is signed by two time Indy 500 winner Emerson Fittipaldi. Car comes with laminated window sticker and build sheet as well as all the original documentation and owners manual. Original MSRP was $69,910.
