1974 Chevy “Flatliner”
One of the most recognized and accomplished custom trucks in existence. This is a top dollar frame off build that has resulted in multiple big show wins, major magazine coverage, and the truck being picked by magazine editors as one of the best custom trucks of all time.
1974 Chevy Stepside Show Truck nicknamed “The Flatliner”. This is absolutely one of the baddest and most decorated custom trucks around. 4 years and over $95,000 has been invested in this full frame off build in which virtually every inch and bolt has been touched creating a true one-of-a-kind show stopper. So much of this truck is the result of one-off custom fabrication that it is safe to say you will never see another truck like it and the air ride suspension allows for an almost unlimited number of looks. You can leave it lowered or almost completely slammed to the ground or leave the back slightly higher for more of a “hot rod” look (my personal favorite!) or anything in between.
The truck has been featured in dozens of publications including virtually every major truck magazine there is. A short list of some of the major magazine features include:

Perhaps the most impressive accomplishment was being named to Truckin’ Magazines special 30th Anniversary Edition list of the “Top 100 Trucks of All Time”. Just making it into Truckin’ Magazine identifies your build as one of the best around so to have a truck which is not only featured, but actually stands out as one of the best trucks they have ever featured, is a tremendous accomplishment. A lot of builds claim to be one of the best but this truck has major magazine editors, who have seen only the cream of the crop for over 3 full decades, actually making that claim for it.
This truck also has show judges backing up its build quality as it has collected awards every time it has been shown including some major events. Some of its major show wins include:
The reason it has won so many awards and been written about so many times is because the great attention to detail covering every inch of this truck. In fact the custom fabrication and detail on even the frame and suspension is so extensive and show worthy that they decided to build a see-through bed just to display the work.

The truck remains in great shape today and has only been driven handful of miles total since its completion. The engine runs perfect and starts right up every time and the truck looks great. The paint is in very good condition with an awesome shine. Overall this truck remains in excellent condition and the chrome shows excellent as well. The door locks are not hooked up so they do not function. Speedometer and fuel gauge disconnected for clean show look but easy to connect. I like to try and point out everything but overall this truck is in show ready condition and is one you would be proud to own and display.
If you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to contact me or call (612-919-4185) I am very happy to show the truck or make it available for inspection so just get in touch to set something up. I am very easy to work with so just let me know and thanks for looking.
