1977 Chevrolet Corvette/Performance and Safety Upgrades/PRICE REDUCED-GREAT DEAL
1977 Chevrolet Corvette Description
It is time for me to let Black Beauty go to the next person so they can enjoy her! I have may eye on another girl. This is not your typical '77 Vette. I drove her from South Carolina to Kansas a year and a half ago and from Kansas to Arizona last year, as well as numerous trips to Prescott and Sedona and never had a bit of trouble. The reason I could do this is because this car has been upgraded extensively. Here is the list:Interior carpet, HVAC controls, Boss AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo with Sony rear speakers, Window Tint, Heater core, Refreshed transmission <5000 miles, 1500 rpm stall converter, Front wheel bearings and seals, Front flexible brake lines, Brake calipers, rotors, and pads, Brake dust pans, Vacuum lines to headlights, Sway bar bushings and supports, Shocks, Frame bushings, Ball joints, Tie Rod ends, Upgraded coil springs, Fuel pump, Radiator and electric fan, Refreshed lower end<5000miles, Finned aluminum oil pan, Electronic ignition, timing chain and gears, Stainless harmonic balancer, New hoses, Aluminum water pump, Lunati cam and lifters w hardened push rods, Roller rockers, All aluminum pulleys, Belts, Ceramic coated headers, Exhaust system, Mufflers, Holly Avenger 650 carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Aluminum high-compression heads, Primary drive u-joints, Balanced primary drive shaft, <5000 miles on tires.Because of these upgrades, this car drives, stops, and handles like the sports car it was built to be, like it would have been coming out of the factory if the emissions laws hadn't tamed the muscle cars. With the cam and high-compression heads, this 350 is making around 350 HP.It is very quick, with a lot of torque. She is a real head-turner that looks good, goes fast, and sounds perfect...subdued at cruise but just loud enough when pushed. You can take the T-tops out and basically have a convertible, or leave them in and cruise comfortably with the R-34A converted AC on. The only thing that doesn't work on this car is the cruise control, everything else works great, even the clock! Besides AC, this car has rally wheels, racing mirrors, tilt and telescopic wheel, and the chrome luggage rack. The paint has some nicks and rock chips but shows well.I would rate it an 8/10, and looks really good from 8 feet. The car has been kept covered with a custom cover, which goes along with the car. The car is a really nice, showable driver. Hard to believe she is almost 40 years old! Best part, she is fun to drive and own, and her value goes up every year. '77 was the last year for the flat back window body style. According to the VIN number and stampings on the engine here is what I know about the car. It's an original L-82 Corvette. It does not have the original engine, which would have been the 350 cid, 210 hp version that came in the L-82. However, it does have a Corvette coded engine, a 350cid that originallymade 180 hp. As stated earlier, this engine has been tastefully modified and has hp and torque well beyond what even the stockL-82 had coming out of the factory.Bid away. You will get a great deal. Basically looking to get purchase price plus parts cost back.
