1971 Chevrolet Blazer Description

It's that time of year and I've decided to change toys. I bought this vehicle off a friend who used itto bum aroundHoughton Lake. At the time the drive train was decent, but the body had some serious issues. Spent around 2yrs bringing it back to life with the following itemsbeing either replaced to rebuilt:

  • Motor, Holly Carb, Aluminum Radiator, Exhaust, Headers
  • 3" Suspension Lift, Body Mounts, Shocks
  • Seats, Sound System, Heat Controls
  • 6 Point Roll Bar, Rear Tires
  • Interior flooring
  • Upper and Lower Rocker Covers
  • Doors, Handles, Mirrors
  • Bumpers, Trim Package
  • Epoxy Primer, Monsta-liner Smurf-adolic Blue
  • Wheel wells, brake lines and brakes

Would say the items above total around $5000.00. I also have the original seats, hardtop and the makings of a soft top. I can't say much for either because I've never had a topon it. I've driven it around 500 miles since the restoration and it runs smooth. If I planned to keep it I would probably upgrade the steering box. It does leak a small amount of power steering fluid, but for it's age I don't think it's anything that wouldn't be expected. There's no large holes anywhere in the vehicle and where it needed new metal it has repaired with replacement parts and weld. The paint job it a bit unique and I get a lot of complaints on it. You can see from the picture that it's textured and a UV stable clear coat has been applied. I purchased the paint from a company called Monstaliner and sprayed the clear coat myself. Can't tell you how many hours I have into the vehicle, but it's in the 100's. The only reason I'm selling it is to save for a 4 seat RZR. Please feel free to email me with any questions and I'll do my best to respond ASAP. Not actually sure what the mileage is. The only thing the doesn't currently work is the fuel gauge. I believe there's a loose wire or the sending unit is bad. I can send additional pictures if there's any area you want to see. If your interested in looking at it we can also arrange that. Rear tires are fairly new, but the front ones are showing some dry rot, there's also a spare included.
