This is an all metal body vehicle. This truck is stock appearing from the outside, except the rear bumper area. Everything else is completely customized. The engine is a 355 cubic inch; 4 bolt main block. It has a billet crank and rods, forged pistons (8:0 to 1) Dart 215 c.c. heads, crane cam, roller rockers, heat treated push rods, 8 quart oil pan, high volume pump, a 671 Weiand Super Charger, 2 Holley 650 CFM carburetors, MSD-BTM complete ignition system, and engine was balanced. There is a March serpentine belt system also. (one belt). The transmission is a 700R automatic, with new flywheel and converter, and MSD high torque starter (transmission was new when truck was built).This truck also has a Locar shifter that resembles the original one. The rear end is a 1971 Monte Carlo with 373 posi-trac. This truck has shorty headers, and a complete stainless exhaust system. This truck also has a stainless grille, new radiator, oil cooler, and transmission cooler. Suspension is Air Technologies, Air Ride, (for lowering). This truck was sent to Heidt's and has their complete front suspension including, cross frame, upper and lower tubular control arms, engine mounts, and rack and pinion steering. The rear suspension has a 4 link system, with a panhard bar. All of this was tig welded and is adjustable. This truck has an aluminum fuel cell and electric fuel pump with steel braided hose from rear to front. Fuel pump is seen from the rear of truck. This truck has vintage air. The interior has all custom gauges, custom steering col,mn and wheel, 2 tone leather seats and more. The bed has custom Bo-binga wood from South America; also everything else is new. This truck looks as good underneath as it does on the top side. It has front disc brakes and rear drum brakes.It has 1432 miles since built. It is a crowd pleaser and award winner at any car show!
