2008 Chevrolet Avalanche LTZ Description

This is my third vehicle. It was my summer toy, and now that winter is coming it's time to go.
This is a VERY clean Texas truck!!! Absolutely zero rust - it literally looks show room new underneath. I had it shipped up from Texas because Cleveland trucks are all rust buckets and I refuse to buy local anymore. My original plan was to make this my daily driver and throw the stock wheels/tires on it for the winter, but it's just too nice to do that, and I've decided it deserves better than the orange death that Ohio winters bring.
This truck only has 64k miles! And I'm not driving it so this number shouldn't go up much if at all. (maybe a little from test drives, other than that it's parked)
On to the fun stuff.
I bought this truck at the beginning of the summer and had it shipped up from Texas to Ohio for my summer project.
To start, I lowered it with a DJM 3/4 drop.
Rather than the common drop spindles most use, I went with drop control arms. Why? Because I called up DJM and they said that is the ONLY way to lower a 4WD truck and keep the CV angle within factory specs. (did I mention it's 4WD, because it is!! how cool is that?!) The rear utilizes drop brackets and new DJM springs. I had a 4-wheel alignment done after lowering the truck and everything is within factory specs for caster, camber, and toe.
Along with the lowering kit, I added new 24" Cadillac Escalade wheels and new Nitto NT420S all season tires. The tires are 305/35R24, which is the largest sidewall you can fit with 24" wheels, and which provide a very comfortable ride. These wheels are perfectly spec'd for offset and backspacing, and I spent a lot of time dialing everything in to make sure there was adequate clearance at all suspension angles. You really can't get more perfect than this setup.
Rounding out the drop project, I added all new Belltech street performance shocks, all new urethane bushings, and new Moog performance swaybar end links. This truck handles like an M3 now! (and I should know because my toy last summer was a 2008 Alpine White M3 with KW V3 fully adjustable coilovers)
Other stuff.
Brand new battery.
Brand new brake pads (front and rear).
Stops great, but could probably use new rotors as I can feel a slight pulsing when coming to a complete stop. My plan was to put a big break kit on it over the winter (I think it would look great behind those 24" wheels!)
The plastic at the very front of the drivers' side running board is cracked. It's not noticeable, and you probable can't even tell in the pictures, but I thought I should mention it.
One of the TPMS monitors is not working. They are all brand new factory (AC delco) parts which I bought and had installed with the new wheels and tires, but one of them reads 0 all the time. I think I just got a bad sensor.
Please note, this is a 2008 vehicle, and while it is extremely clean and there is not a single bit of rust anywhere on it, it does have some dings, scratches, etc. typical for the age.
