2004 Chevrolet Avalanche Description

What a great truck and deal. This is NOT too good to be true. This truck is one of those special exceptions to the rule as its been well taken care of and it is documented.Don't like the price, hit me with a number... see if it sticks.This is also for sale locally cheaper (no fees) so if it sells I will end this auction.The unique and versatile Chevrolet Avalanche with its fold down mid gate puts a great spin on truck/suv. I am a 25 + year GM tech and I purchased this truck from a friend to give to my father. My father decided it was too tall for him to use daily. So now... after I made some repairs, its ready to sell. It has the dependable 5.3L V8, 4L60E trans with 3.73 gearing. Recent (last month) repairs include;ALL fluids serviced,YES EVERY FLUID. If it was liquid it was changed just as preventive maintenance, transfer case repair so it is fresh and ready with new clutches, pump protector and GM shift motor/actuator, LF door hinge bushings replaced, console lid hinge repaired, one (heater hose) coolant fitting, and the parking brake shoes were replaced. That's pretty much all it needed to bring it up to my selling standards. I have the tall stack of service records from the original owner, plus the records from the second owner. Now keep all that and more below mentioned in mind sothe 304k miles shouldn't scare you away from this deal at all. I'd drive this anywhere and feel confident. In addition to the great maintenance records, its very clean for its mileage and age and it's well equipped. 6 passenger, COLD A/C, dual temp control, GM step bars, bed covers (and their GM bag) and steering wheel controls. The original owner even kept the factory bold yellow Chevy bow tie floor mats stored so they are in near perfect condition. He also added a rear 120V outlet converter to the floor. The records indicates the transmission was addressed (AAMCO) at 280k miles. So its not a worry and shifts flawless. The ATF fluid was clean but I exchanged and updated the fluid to the better Dexron 6 for even better durability. NO chemical flushing cleaner was used, only complete fluid exchange through the cooler lines. After services and repairs I have personally titled and tagged this truck and my wife and I have driven it over 1000 miles now to verify repairs and any issues and will continue to drive until it's sold. I have been the tech on this truck for over the last 2 years and 25k miles. The only known current issues are two bad door (F/R) speakers, a few dash/radio lights are inoperative (PRNDL is dark) and yes it has some typical engine and drive line seeps. The Good Year all terrain tires are in good shape with 60% tread remaining and the brake pads are about 50%. Paint is good, no serious dents, yes a few nicks, bumps and scratches, interior in good shape with really the only wear on the LF seat and a slight crack (forward edge) in the LR door panel. The rear bumper has a wrinkle on the right.Its a great truck. Its been a NC truck it's whole life so no abnormal under body rust or corrosion. Don't miss out.. it wont last long, its priced to sell. Ask questions if ya have them. NC title in my name and ready for the next owner.
