This vehicle has an ACTUAL CORRECT 1957 283-270 Horsepower Motor w/ Solid Lifters...IT HAS THE PROPER IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS STAMPED INTO THE BLOCK IN 1957 BY CHEVROLET...Of course, it has an original metal "Bat-Wing" Air Cleaner, as well as properly date-coded/correct number Carbs, Dual-Point Distributor, Aluminum Intake, Heads w/ correct numbers/casting marks and so on...It also comes with the correct original high-voltage 091 Ignition Coil and correct Water Pump, Gas Pump, Pulleys, Oil Pan, Linkage, etc. Naturally, this car has a properly date-coded radiator, transmission, rear, and all NOS original shocks! (you know, the shockswith the swirls)

The car was restored usingALL ORIGINAL AND NOS PARTS.The only exception being the side mirrors which were added later. There were no other reproduction parts used at all!In fact, not many repro parts were even available for saleat the time of restoration!
