1996 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 1/2 ton Extra Cab 4X4Truck up for sale. Has 117K miles. Z71 Off Road option. Color isBlue with white sides. Two tone.

This truck has been in the family for 20 years. My parents were the original owners and it was passed to me when they did not use it anymore. Well maintained with lower miles for the age. It was used for basic transportation for the first 90K then to pull a utility trailer and haul around motorcycles from 90K to present. No overly heavy loads.

Has a 305 CI V8 with an automatic transmission and 4 wheel drive. Drivetrain is in good condition. Starts easily. Shifts fine. Battery is from 2013. Holds charge fine.

Blue leather interior with power driver seat. Extra cab back seat. Leather is torn on both front seats as shown in pictures. Driver side door handle is broken off. Have to roll down the window to open the door. Rear sliding window and bed light.

A/C runs cold. Stereo is ok. Speakers sound ok. CD player does not work.

Alloy wheels with Michelin tires with about 40% wear left. Tires are 10 years old also but show no signs of age.

Hi/Lo 4 wheel drive. Tow hitch has 7 pin adapter on it.

Paint is ok except for the typical era peeling on the hood and the roof. The hood clear coat is almost completely gone while the roof has bubbles and peeling.

Tailgate functions but is sometimes difficult to open due to stretched actuating rods. The trim piece is missing from the tailgate handle. Bed liner is in ok condition. Tie down hooks on 4 corners of the bed.

Tube style running boards with padded steps are good.

Basically a 20 year old truck that runs and drives well and has lots of life left. Good stuff is low mileage with a good engine, 4WD, that can tow and haul. Bad stuff is the peeling paint, broken driver side door handle and wear on the seats.

Truck is sold as-is with no warranties expressed or implied. The winning bidder may test drive the truck and have it inspected by a mechanic if desired. If they do not find the truck to be acceptable, the truck does not have to be purchased and deposit will be returned. This only applies to the actual winning bidder when they pick up the truck personally. If a shipping company picks up the truck, the truck is accepted as-is and it is nor returnable.
