2014 Chevrolet Corvette Z51 Convertible Description

Up for auction is my spectacular 2014 Stingray Z51 Convertible. I purchased this dream machine from my local Cable-Dahmer Chevrolet dealer in Independence, MO in September 2014. At the time, there were only (2) Blade Silver over Adreneline Red Convertible C7's available in the entire country. And when I saw it in person I had to have it! Hands down, this is the hottest color combination on any C7... period.
For the past 2 years I have enjoyed my C7 in so many ways. I made several 900 mile commutes back and forth to New Mexico while working in the oilfields there. In July of 2015, I drove it to the All Star game in Cincinnati and had an absolute blast! I've also taken it to numerous car shows and outings in Kansas City and enjoyed talking with people about my car. And still my C7 continues to excite me. From its Formula 1 style handling & performance to its sexy body lines inside and out, the C7 rivals many European super cars. It's truly a piece of rolling mechanical art.
Now let's discuss the obvious elephant in the room... mileage. At 26,787 miles some might feel its a bit high for a car of this nature. To those I say this is not the car for you. Thank you for looking and goodbye. But if you believe (like me) that this baby was meant to be driven AND enjoyed then continue reading on!
As I stated earlier, I worked in New Mexico for a few years and so I made several commutes back and forth to Kansas City in my C7. Honestly, of the 26k miles I can safely say that at least 20k are highway miles, cruising at 70 mph in Economy mode (4 cylinders). Now, let's the discuss the lower "6000" mile cars that seem to get people so excited. Can anyone honestly say that a lower mile car has been "treated" any better than a car with a few more miles? The disturbing truth is those 6000 miles could be high-speed miles at a track. Hmm not so appetizing now huh? I wonder if the owner will disclose that in the description? By the way, my C7 has zero track miles. And it also comes with an Extended 60/60 Major Guard Warranty. That means you will have and additional 24,000 miles of bumper-to-bumper coverage after the first warranty expires at 36,000 miles. How many other C7's for sale have that?
The other argument to be made is to look at the overall condition of my C7. Recently, I took it in for its 25,000 mile service at the dealership (see attached pic of the Inspection Report). And this is no exaggeration but the guys in the service shop thought it was a 2017 model when I pulled up. They were literally blown away when they discovered the mileage. The tires still have 8/32" tread AND the rubber tits. The interior is perfect. And the paint... well its exceptional! You see, I wasn't satisfied with the normal "factory" paint job when I purchased the car. So after a few "convincing" conversations with the sales department and a special visit with a GM rep who flew in from the Bowling Green plant in Kentucky to view my car, my C7 received a fresh new paint job... at GM's expense. It has NO factory orange peel like all the other C7's on the road and its shine is as deep as the ocean is blue. Amazing what you can get when you decide to put your foot down and simply ask for it!
But as the saying goes... all good things must come to an end. Now it's your turn to own this magnificent machine. And here comes another disclaimer: If you don't like getting extra attention from strangers then don't buy my car! Because that's what you'll get every time you pull into a gas station or pass by a car load of crazy kids. I honestly had no idea... I bought the car for all that it represents: innovative design, powerful American muscle, etc. The fact is, people are drawn to it like flies on stink. Most think its some exotic car from overseas. I just tell them that GM is officially back in the business of turning heads!
